Choosing the right practitioner is an interesting process. What do we base our choices on? Do we go with someone that’s been recommended by a friend or do we research the most experienced practitioner in the field on our own? Are we more comfortable working with a man or a woman? And so on.
In my experience, it’s a choice best made by the individual and their internal sense of what is correct for them. It’s about finding someone with whom you feel a connection or resonance, and trusting that if your paths are crossing there is probably a reason for it.
So if you’re here reading this page, I assume that you and I are somehow connected or you saw something on this site that spoke to you. Or maybe you’re not quite sure why you’re here and interested in a consultation. With gratitude for this opportunity for us to work together, I’d like to tell you a bit about my approach.
As can be read on my bio, I began my metaphysical studies with astrology, being introduced to the system at a young age by my mother. After years of studying various astrological traditions including psychological astrology, Jyotish/Indian astrology, Hellenistic astrology, and Uranian/Symmetrical astrology, I found myself increasingly focused on refining a set of tools and techniques that were proving to be the most consistently effective in practice.
With astrology, I start with the Western Tropical birth chart as a point of reference for an understanding of the person and the unique gifts and themes in their life. I use “whole-sign” houses for both their reliability and simplicity and traditional rulerships where the outer planets are used but not given rulership over the signs and houses of the chart. I use planetary period or “time-lord” systems such as the Indian Vimshottari Dasas to examine the most important issues and themes at a given time, and Hellenistic Zodiacal Releasing for additional timing and peak-periods in one’s life. I will always reference the active planetary transits when forecasting to identify the past, present, and future cycles at any given time.
Human Design also uses the time and place of your birth to create a birth chart called the BodyGraph. This is a graphical representation showing your unique energetic makeup. It shows how your life force is designed to operate, what is consistent and reliable in your life and what is conditional and where you are most open to influences. With an understanding of your design, you are given a means of navigating your life in greater alignment with your true self.
The more I work with the Human Design system and the BodyGraph, the more I am convinced that it can be a game changer for those wishing to wake up as themselves and live a life of less resistance and greater purpose. A working understanding of your design can serve as a practical point of reference in terms of how your energy is designed to work and is something of an antidote to the perpetual influences coming in from society and the program. It’s ultimately about connecting with one’s innate form consciousness and letting the body drive your experience in this world. This enables the mind to take its proper role as a witness and passenger in the vehicle. Both Human Design and astrology each have something unique to offer and together can bring a more complete understanding and awareness to one’s unique energetic design and orientation in life.
I see my role primarily as a guide for others wishing to explore and experiment with this knowledge in the context of their own life. Based on my particular design as a 2/4 Projector with the single 25-51 Channel of Initiation definition, I tend to bring that life force into my consulting work. That is to say that it is natural for me to play the role of an initiating presence for others into this deep and profound path of awareness.
Consultations are confidential and I only work with a small number of clients at any given time. I prefer working one-on-one whenever possible as it allows me to give the other my full attention. The majority of my sessions are conducted using the Zoom video conferencing platform and are recorded. If you live in Austin, Texas and you would like to meet in person that can also be arranged.
If you are interested in setting up a session, please visit the services page and choose the type of session you are interested in. I will quickly respond with several options for appointment times within the next couple of weeks. I am generally booked at least a week in advance, but can sometimes work sessions in sooner if needed.
I look forward to working together.
